Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best known for her work on her role in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' you are awestruck. Also a dancer, she also models. She was born in Montreal She was born in Texas. She has always enjoyed performing. She has been training in various dance styles from the time she was a child. As she reached the age of 15 old, she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008, after she was a part of two seasons of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. She made her acting debut in 2010, portraying a receptionist in the Telemundo television show Aurora. The first film she appeared in was the action-drama Tattooed Love in 2015.
