Aaliyah Haughton was famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it went on to become Gold. R. Kelly was a major influence on this collaboration that put her in the limelight. In 1996 she worked with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If Your Girl Only Knew. The acting career of her began in early 2000 with small roles on TV and films. Other than The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she has appeared in important commercials featuring brands like Volvo the world's largest auto maker. The actress lives within Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She will continue to pursue an acting profession.

She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson and his wife Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy was the youngest of six children.
