Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe. She was the daughter of Olden Wilson, an ironworker and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was one of six kids. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's music taste and records played in the home. At the age of four, Nancy knew that she would like to become an artist. She began to develop her talent by singing in choirs at church. In high school when she started appearing frequently in Skyline Melodies. She was fifteen when she won the television talent show. When she was fifteen, she began her journey in night clubs. When she graduated from high school, aged 17 Nancy took a class for a semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to leaving and becoming professional as a musician. In 1956, she made her debut record in Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with whom she toured from 1956 and 1958. Nancy released her first album in the band's studio with Dot Records while in the group. Cannonball Adderley urged her to move into New York in order to improve her career. She went to The Big Town, New York in 1959. Within one month, she got an offer to sing at The Blue Morocco Night Club located on Boston Road in The Bronx where Adderley's agent heard her and signed her. It was a contract by Capitol Records in 1960. That year, she released her first single. Guess Who? Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a two-year period. Her first album was focused on R&B, but under Adderley's influence, she started to take on jazz. Nancy Wilson's 1962 collaboration in 1962 with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top and, the year 1963 saw her scoring her first success with Tell Me the Truth. The song led to a performance at New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she quickly became a legend.
Maisie is a British television and film actor. She was the main character in Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's film The Kissing Booth. The ABC Bible's Of Kings and Prophets she starred as Michal who was the child of Israel the King Saul. Ellie was her character in the short film of 2013 Americano and Rum. In 2015, Korr Sella was a part of part of the cast in Short Wars The Force Awakens. She then appeared in the Netflix original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 as Chloe Winthrop.
