Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson as an ironworker from Chillicothe on February 20, 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as housekeeper. Nancy was the eldest of six kids. Nancy was extremely influenced when she was a young girl by the music her dad enjoyed and loved playing in the his home. She already knew she would become a performer when she was just four years old. She began developing her talent by singing in the choir at church. When she won a talent contest on television around the age of 15, she started appearing regularly in Skyline Melodies, while still at high school. That same year, Nancy started to work at night clubs. Following her graduation from high school aged 17 Nancy took a class for a term at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to dropping out and becoming an accomplished singer. She made her first recording in Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band, which she sang with from 1956 to 1958. While in the group Nancy released her first record in the studio of Dot Records. Cannonball adderley encouraged her to travel into New York in order to advance her career. She went to The Big Town, New York in 1959. In less than a month, she was singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club which is located at Boston Road near The Bronx. A representative from Adderley's company was able to hear her perform and promptly agreed to sign her. He signed a contract with Capitol records in 1960 and she debuted the following year, with a single. Guess whom I am seeing in the present. Capitol released 5 Nancy Wilson Albums in 2 years. Initially focusing on rhythm and blues, under Adderley's influence she moved away from R&B and embraced music from jazz and torch. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in the year 1962 helped make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. She was offered a job in New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's premier nightclub.
Maisie is a British television and film actor. She is best known as the actress who played Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. She was Michal who was the daughter of King Saul in the ABC's biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Also, she has appeared on various well-known TV series, including The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. Maisie was born 2 March 1992 in England. Joy Richardson is her mother. She completed her education at an elite private school and graduated from Oxford University. She has a degree in Archaeology & Anthropology. Maisie was first introduced to acting in the year 2012 in the film Our First World. Ellie was the character she played in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. The actress appeared in a cameo role in the film as Korr Sella, in Short Wars: Forces Awakening in the year 2015. The actress portrayed Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 & 3.
